Getting signed to a label is a career goal for many an artist. But as any music creator who has signed a record deal knows well, getting the deal is just the beginning. In this panel, you’ll hear from The Score, a vibrant pop/rock duo in the middle of a major label journey. The pair will discuss their big break with a UK ad placement and how they evaluated the offers that came their way as a result. You’ll learn what it’s like to balance your own goals with the expectations of a label, and get a deeper understanding of all the hard work, networking, collaborating, politics, joys and sacrifices that go into being a signed artist.
